There come many times in your life when you are invited for discussions and arguments whether it is at home with parents and elders, with teachers and peers in school, during interviews, or a normal, casual get together with friends.

The topics are numerous but the time is finite, so therefore the arguments can be limited only upto a certain timeframe from 24 hours. Due to this, most of the times, nobody is able to come to any definitive conclusion due to difference of opinion.

Such debates have no end as they can never be universally agreed upon due to the diversity of the nature of the subject and due to everyone’s biased and subjective preference of one over the other and blatant favoritism for one and dislike, even hatred, of the other.

One profession that is looked down upon, among many others, is cookery as it does not create a good first impression on the average person who is on the lookout for a well paid job.

Fortunately, with the passage of time, cookery transitioned from being a domestic practice limited to housewives to evolving into a flourishing profession which has become a natural thing today.

The federal government added it into the educational curriculum in the form of a course of 3 years, similar to ones of engineers, medicine, management and others. The hotel management course provided an opportunity for all the budding cooks out there who harbored a passion for cooking by providing a platform to learn the basics and use them to pursue it as a career.

The most important tools for cooks are knives and forks with the former having an edge over the latter due to obvious reasons. The knife is considered the best weapon for cooks as they are used for cutting sealed packets of eatable and non eatable items and for chopping vegetables.

They are specifically called kitchen knives as they are designed for the exclusive purpose of cooking and things that are within the confines of the kitchen and not beyond.
