I have owned a pair of Bushnell 12×25 PowerView Binoculars since the winter of 2006. The pair I have are black with Bushnell silver lettering on them. They have a field of view of240 Ft at 1000 yards and it was manufactured in China. It came with a black carry case, lens cloth, and has a string attachment that makes it possible to wear around your neck. The binoculars themselves are 4×4 1/2 inches long, are very lightweight, and can fit into most any pocket as well. It has a rubber armoring for protection against dropping it or any other possible damage that could be done to it.
The instruction booklet that comes with it is very detailed and self-explanatory for those who purchase it. In fact, you can keep the instruction booklet in the provided carry case if you need to reference it when you are out using the binoculars.
I can safely say that Bushnell is one of the best brands that I have ever owned and have recommended it to many friends, who too have expressed gratitude for doing so. It has made me a fan of optic zoo and I hope to buy more of its products.
Believe it or not, I actually got the pair of binoculars for my years of service at a retailer here in town. I was given a gift incentive to pick out what I wanted from the website they have. I was seriously considering a tool set that was in it, but I already had one in my apartment. So between the tool set and binoculars, I chose the latter.
The binoculars have been great for me. The real reason I decided to go with those instead of another tool set was because of the problem I had a sporting events sitting far from the action. I went to a football game this past fall, and now I can see the field much better even high up in the stands.
I really have no complaints about the binoculars, but I am guessing that getting them as an incentive might have something to do with that. They have been great for me at sporting events as well as in general.
I will not leave home without those binoculars when attending a sporting event of any kind. I will eventually use them for road trips on the East Coast where I live because of the ocean and mountains surrounding where I live.
The one pair I have retails for about $27, but you can get them at binoculars.com for under $20. So they are very affordable for those who want good binoculars without investing alot of money in them. For those who like to hunt, fish, or look at views of the ocean, mountains, or in the sky would probably find these very useful for you. My reason for using them is probably different than most of you out there, but I am glad I was able to use a gift incentive to own a pair. They should last anyone who buys a pair of them for a long time to come. I would have gladly paid $27 for a pair to use whenever I needed to. I would recommend them to anyone out there looking to pick up pair if they need it.
